Here is a quick guide to help you get the most out of Abadoo.
- Create an account - to do this simply click on Post your free advertisement or Currently not signed in and type in a user name, valid email address and password.
- Next click on the Hello button at the top of the page and you will be presented with a list of options.
- Here you can add a listing, edit your profile, edit your details, manage your listings and more.
- We recommend adding an image to your profile with a short description of who you are. When you post an ad, your user name will appear under the ad and users may click on it and view your profile. They may also contact you through the site. You will get an email notifying you that you have received a message.
- To get the best out of Abadoo upgrade your listing to a paid listing.
- A paid listing will appear at the top of your chosen category and you can add a link to your website, blog or social mediapage. Not only is a link handy to visitors who can click straight to your site, but for search engines it gives your site an endorsement and will help it to rank for your particular field.
- Say for instance you own a taxi company in Hull, you would enter your company's website address in the URL box and then add a title in the title box, which would be something like "Taxi Service in Hull". In this example, when somebody searches for a taxiservice in Hull using a search engine like Google, your website will have a link from Abadoo and help it to rank for "Taxi service in Hull". Having a ranking will help your website to appear at the top of the search engine results for your particular keywords.
